Following are the authentication mechanism that kPoint supports:
1. Default kPoint authentication - Organizations can register user accounts in kPoint database using which a user database on kPoint with Email Ids and passwords and share it with users. User can then login with registered email address and respective passwords
kPoint can be integrated with the organization's authentication systems. Details are as below:
2. SAML integration with AD - kPoint supports SAML protocol and work as SAML service provider (SAML-SP) to integrate with organization's AD such as Microsoft ADFS, AZURE etc. which supports SAML and can be configured as SAML indentity provider (SAML-idp) for SSO. In this case seperate provisioning of users is not required on kPoint.
3. Google auth integration - If organization is using a google authentication then it can be integrated with kPoint. In this case also seperate provisioning of users is not required on kPoint.
kPoint default app can work with one of the authentication integrations mentioned above if organization wants to share the platform with external users along with the enerprise users.
