How to use Studio?

The new Studio replaces the current Studio as the self-paced authoring tool. It lets you produce videos from multiple clips by recording, importing, editing, and sequencing the clips. The new Studio eliminates the dependency on Flash and also rids you from the complex process of installing any plugins.

The new Studio has a few easy-to-understand concepts like the Assets added to a Project that can be placed on the Timeline to Create a Video.

Asset - Raw versions of the video clips imported or recorded in the new studio. Even if you edit these clips, the raw versions will remain the same.

Timeline - The place where you build your video using clips. The clips you add to the timeline should be edited suitably and will be used while generating the video.

Project - Collection of raw clips and the edited clips on timeline Export one or more videos from a project. There can be multiple videos generated from and linked to a project.

The following video will give an overview of how to use Studio:

Steps to produce a video:

  1. Open a project from the project listing page (or create a new project)
  2. Import or record clips
  3. Add the desired clips to the timeline
  4. Review and edit the timeline, arrange the clips in the required sequence
  5. Export video

You will see your video in the Manage Content page under the video listing page once it is ready and processed. Use the settings to update information and share the video with the desired users.
