Video Analytics Explained

Let’s understand the several data points present on the Statistics page.

  • Streamed duration - This number states the total no of hours the video has been viewed for till date.
  • View Locations - The map highlights all locations from where this video was viewed from.
  • Searched Terms – All terms used to search inside the video.
  • Engagement % - The engagement % depicts the avg engagement calculated considering all views on the video. You can hover over the player to see the engagement and number of rewatches for any point of time in the video.
  • Avg View Duration - Avg view duration represents how much time on an average the video is being watched based on the total streamed hours and total plays of the video.
  • Unique Visitors - Number of unique people who have viewed the video.
  • Total Plays-Total number of times the video has been played by all viewers.
  • You can look at Daily and Monthly graphs for Total plays and unique visitors.
  • User engagement section - You can view the name of the viewer and the percentage of the video that was watched by the viewer. Quiz score will be displayed (wherever applicable). You can also search for a viewer by typing the name in the search box so you can see if this viewer has watched the entire video. The dark shaded area of this graph represents the section of the video that was re-watched so the darker the area in the graph the more number of times was this section of the video watched.
  • Reminders can be sent to individual users or in bulk, by clicking the envelope icon.

All this information can be downloaded into reports in CSV format.

  • Viewership Summary Report – Summary report of video viewing % and quiz score wherever applicable.
  • Detailed viewership report –Comprehensive report of video viewership user wise.
  • Quiz Report – Detailed quiz report stating responses given by users.
  • User Interaction Report – Tracks interactions done by the user during viewing the video for e.g. – Like comment, inside video search.
